Concept_
Inside|Out Outside|In is a modular housing platform that builds off the Eastern Tennessee Appalachian housing vernacular and typology. The design is rooted in the regions rich tradition of front porches and strong visual and physical links to the landscape.
Construct_
Built from local materials, constructed off-site in modular sections allows for the design to be placed on site with minimal site disruption. The materials used in the construction such as wood, concrete, metal, and landscape stand in their original form referencing the vernacular material palette. This minimized the need for annual maintenance and increases the homes lifespan.
